With the distance bumped up, Thomas begins to regain her advantage over Hazzard, beating her head-to-head at the NY Relays in a State Leading time, only lowered by Thomas herself later in the season. The mark would have been the State Record if there was a wind-gauge present, of which there will be at States. Brittany Korsah is catching up to the top leaders, as is Jenna Crean, who will use the elevated competition to most likely drop a big personal best. No surprise to see Stevens back on top in the 200m as well for D2, but Anna Schug is a threat at any distance, and shouldn't be counted out on seed alone. | |||||
