Mary Hennelly and Alex Harris have pushed each other all season. But each time, is was Hennelly with the advantage, and the 8th Grade National Record Holder comes in as the favorite. Harris could be looking for the upset, looking to improve upon the third place finish in 2015, but there are plenty of athletes behind with room to stretch their legs. Both Megan Reilly and Sam Levy are top tier cross country runners, who've taken to the Steeplechase in their senior year. Far from their targeted event at most major meets, there is strong room for improvement given the right field. While their seeds may be 10 seconds back, we don't expect them to finish that way.
