Tradition continues at the Loucks Games. The nomenclature as the "Arcadia of the East" is beginning to stick, as once again a quality field was assembled and executed. While Arcadia may have brought out the same number of Sub-9 performances, Loucks was the only meet to get anyone under 8:50. In fact, the top three all went under. all from New York. The unseeded section set the pace, as Drew Dorflinger put down 9:13 in the slow heat, ensuring a fast pace was all but guaranteed one heat after. Winner Noah Affolder takes home the NY State Junior Record while grabbing the win in 8:47.60, while fellow SU-commit Aidan Tooker comes on for second. Conor Lundy joins Tooker at 8:49, both improving their marks from 2015 as top returners. Name after name rolled through, a total of six for the Empire State as the clock rolled on.
