The 2016 Glenn D. Loucks Games Preview Blowout - A Viewer's Guide

Girls 3200m

Event Info: Friday - 6:55

State of the Action

This will be the third time Hannah Debalsi and Diana Vizza have met up in the last two months.  First at New Balance Indoor Nationals over 5000m, then again over 3000m at the Penn Relays.  Both times Debalsi got the advantage, but Vizza has not been far behind.  Both are back again at Loucks, seeing themselves as the top seeds.  Vizza ran 10:19.91 a day later at Nationals, while Debalsi has an impressive PR from the aptly names Brook's PR meet.  The two wukk be joined by Eliza Rego, who will be looking to use the Loucks magic to get under 10:30 for the first time.  Kelsey Chmiel took home a freshman state record indoors over 3000m, and has been rapidly improving.  Jackie Gallagher and Julia Stevenson are both under 10:40 as of late, and will be joined by Anna Flynn depending on her recovery.

The rest of the top seeds have to be converted up from 3000m.  Katherine Lee just put down a state leader in the 1500m, and the duo from La Salle would love to join Rego on the podium.  This could be just as fast as any race out there.
