National Records and National Leaders Fall At 2015 Bishop Loughlin Games

Girls Distance

1000m

Highlights

Despite an early season effort Sammy Watson (Rush-Henrietta) still managed to unleash her signature kick over the last lap.  She gapped the field quite handily, to put in the fastest time of the weekend.

Mile

Highlights

In only her third Mile run ever, Katie Devore (Mamaroneck) sat on the leader for the opening 1400m.  It was then that the 800m instinct kicked in, and Devore pulled away from the field with confidence, garnering a two second lead on the field to win.

2-Mile

Highlights

A late entry, both in the meet, and to Indoor Track, Allysa Aldridge (Mainland, NJ) flew from wire to wire in her first Indoor Meet ever.  As soon as the gun went off, Aldridge pushed away from the field, clicking off laps with ease.  She would cross the line in a significant personal best, and the national leader to boot.
