State of the Action: While much of the battle and struggle for Liverpool
came from the Sectional Race, last year's fourth place finisher at NXN
proved why they belonged to be at States in 2015. The only team to put
three in the Top 10, let alone two in the Top 9, they looked strong
through the toughest course of the year. The backend was not as strong
as they were at VVS the week before, but they still performed better
than the majority of the field, to wrap up their first state title since
1991, and only their second ever. Corning impressively closed the gap, with their fifth man performing well for the difficult course. Arlington rounded out the top team finishers in third. |
