Section 4 Girls
Class A

| Position | Team | TR | Top Runners |
| 1 | Elmira | 114.8 | Wheeler, Riley, R. Tubbs, Lovejoy, Amentler, M. Tubbs, Brooks |
| 2 | Corning | 114.2 | Lawson, Mertus, Niu, Collins, Holman, Ketchum, O'Dell |
| 3 | Ithaca | 105.8 | Rayle, Williams, Frank, Tomasik, Widercrantz, Milner |
| 4 | Horseheads | 94.0 | Deiseroth, Quanz, Walker, Testone, Naples |
| 5 | Binghamton | 83.2 | Leo, Pelella, Barnes, Pogson, Spencer |
| Fast Runners: | Jessica Lawson (Corn) 150, Abbey Wheeler (Elm) 148, Kate Mertus (Corn) 120, Lizzy Rayle (Ith) 117, Alexi Deiseroth (Hors) 112 , Taeli Quanz (Hors) 110, Olivia Riley (Elm) 109, Sylvia Frank (Ith) 108, Alyssa Walker (Hors) 108 | ||
| Summary: | The margin between Elmira and Corning at least weekend's STAC was 1 point, and the S4-A race could be even closer. Just as with the guy's S4-A battle, the key position here seems to be the 5th spot on the second-projected team, in this case for reigning champ Corning. If the Hawks are able to get up and match the Express in the back positions, this race could go down to a tie-breaker. Last year's S4-A champ and this year's Manhattan-Eastern States winner Jessica Lawson is matched against this year's top NY runner at McQuaid and last weekend's STAC winner Abbey Wheeler in yet another "best contest of year" battle, until States, Feds, and maybe NXN Regionals and Nationals roll around. | ||
Class B |
|||
| Position | Team | TR | Top Runners |
| 1 | Vestal | 75.4 | Baldridge-Heywood, Kasson, Davey, Fahrenkrug, Suzuki, Labosky |
| 2 | Owego | 67.2 | Jackson, Keppler, Pierce, Sanguanito, Grantham, Felice |
| 3 | Maine-Endwell | 63.6 | Otis, Baumgart, Deino, Wisniewski, McFadden |
| 4 | Johnson City | 53.0 | E. Cluck, Burdick,Ruland, Ulrick, H. Cluck, Post |
| Fast Runners: | Emily McKay (UE) 125, Ali Otis (ME) 109, Emily Cluck (JC) 97, Ally Zanni (ME) 86, Caelan Baldridge (Ves) 81, Molly Burdick (JC) 79, Jasmine Fahrenkrug (Ves) 79, Alicia Kasson (Ves) 78 | ||
| Summary: |
Vestal appears to have a solid enough pack between Owego's first and second runners to capture the S4-B title that it lost by 4 points to Maine-Endwell last year. Though not running at quite the level she did last year when she finished 2nd at States, Union Endicott's Emily MacKay should again breeze to the S4-B title and then move on to another high finish at States. |

Class C |

| Position | Team | TR | Top Runners |
| 1 | Newark Valley | 88.6 | Stewart, Knight, Silba, Maule, Riegel, Raymond |
| 2 | Waverly | 54.2 | Vaughn, Tomaso,Talada, Fritzen, Welch |
| 3 | Lansing | 4.44 | Garcia, Mauser, Miller, Longhouse, Taylor |
| Fast Runners: | Kaylee Stone (Win) 114, Sophie Stewart (NV) 98, Marissa Silba (NV) 92, Maggie Bond (WG) 92, Kristina Knight (NV) 92, Abbey Yatsko (Dry) 88, Courtney Maule (NV) 86 | ||
| Summary: |
Last year Newark Valley lost the S4-C title due to lack of depth, but this year the Cardinals have been on a late season surge, while reigning champ Watkins Glen has not been able to field a full team. Newark Valley should win by a lot this year, and the same is likely true for Windsor's reigning S4-C champ Kaylee Stone. |

Class D |

| Position | Team | TR | Top Runners |
| 1 | Trumansburg | 89.0 | MacQueen, Clifford, Melvin, McIntyre, Whittaker, Wulff |
| 2 | Elmira-Notre Dame | 65.4 | C. Yoder, P. Yoder, Fontana, Kubinski, Karee |
| 3 | Seton Catholic-Binghamton | 54.2 | Will, Shaffer, Honken, Pawlosky |

| Summary: |
Last year Trumansburg had a fairly close win in S4-D, but this year the margin over Notre Dame and Seton Catholic should be much bigger. 8th-grader Molly MacQueen of Trumansburg is a sizable favorite over reigning champ Julia Russell of Candor. |
