Overview: The race of death? Start with the return of Rutto. The senior hasn't been seen in XC yet, but is listed on the entries, so we have to assume he is back and ready to run. Heir apparent is Ronald Kigen, who has transferred in, and already picked up a quartet of second places in a loaded state of New Jersey. In between is Greg Pelose, who nabbed third at the Bowdoin Classic two weeks back. Christian Raslowsky proved strong at Crusader and McQuaid, and is also in the mix. For the team battle, you have the three highest rated teams in all the letter races battling it out, with many quality teams to be caught in the crossfire. Bishop Hendricken would be the top school in Rhode Island if not for La Salle, and Haddonfield took second to CBA at Bowdoin. Xavier made the competition to Mendon very close at McQuaid, and could get back on the horse with a win here.
