| Notes: Delaying
her start to the season, Abby Gugel is looking to get back on the
podium. She was second at the State Meet as a freshman, third as a
junior. That just leaves one medal left to acquire: the gold. Gugel
took the race out strong, followed closely by Ashliegh Crawford and
Meggie Hart. But it would be the flat, fast backhills where Gugel would
put in separation, nearly ten seconds ahead of her competition.
