They couldn't get any closer in these races, even if they tried. Sidney Gibbons and Aaron McFadden put on a nail biter in both of the hurdle finals. In the Class Final, their race was decided by 0.08 seconds. The covered the hurdles in unison. Meanwhile, Storm Malone was busy taking the D2 title in similar times, setting up a showdown in the final. Come Federation final, tensions were at an all time high. The gun went off, and home section Shawn Bleichert had the best first 5 hurdles. But the field began to close, and Gibbons and McFadden were on pace for another dive at the line. And yet, Gibbons would push through the final hurdle first, and sprint away to capture his first 110 Title. |
