| Some different event choices have pushed Victoria Jones-Alleyne
into the most experience choice here for top level competition.
However, she hasn't come within .6 seconds of her mark from NY Relays
since running it, and it may open up the title to the competition.
Right in the mix is newcomer, Sophia Meyers. The
freshman was unknown until the PSAL Championships, where she clocked her
current personal best in the trials. With a performance like that, she
could run away with the title. Aviana Goode gave up a
chance in the High Jump to instead jump over some hurdles, and it may
be a worthwhile decision is she comes away with the win. |
