It took awhile for high jump to really get going in New York this year. Much like Indoors, the top seeds are saving their best for last. Hasani Rathan hit a personal best by half a foot at States to win in 6-10. He'll look to do the same here after a 6-7 in regular season. Dan Claxton is your top seed in the field, also from Section 11, and part of the 1-2-3 sweep indoors of the event. Jack Fitzgerald hit a school record of 6-8 in a dual meet this season, and will be looking to make it official at the State Champs. Your top D2 talents will come from Mike Beebe and Donel Cathcart. | |||||
