Even with the notable absence of the State Record holder, this race is as close as ever. Infinite Tucker has emerged as a force in the event after a breakout Indoor season, but only milliseconds separate him from a fast closer in Corey Briggs. Denzel Villaman came out and shocked the field with his big personal best at the PSAL champs, and Sam Chimezie is another one to watch in this field. And then there is Ronaldo Griffiths,
who may be the most dangerous in the field, despite being the 5th
seed. He is the current State Record Holder for Freshman in this event,
when he went 52.61 last year, right around this time. If he pops
another one of those performances, he'll be hard to catch. On the D2
level, Jack Zagrobelny is your top seed by almost a full second. |
