The Great State Meet Preview - Outdoor, 2015

With the 800m lacking last year, the 4x800m wasn't much better. But as is with the open, the relay has seen a ressurgence in 2015 once again. Five teams are knocking on the door of sub-9, with one team already under. A lot of the story will be on Kam McIntosh, who had to drop a 2:03 anchor to aid her Suffern team's winning mark. With much of her team resting for the day, they'll be looking to hammer each leg from the gun. They'll have to to hold off Shenendehowa, who has a very well balanced squad looking to break under that barrier for the first time as well. Bronxville is your top D2 team, but it won't hold them back from the sub-9 this same relay ran at Nationals last year. Burnt Hills, and North Rockland will have rested legs as well, and could very well steal this race. With so many teams in the mix, it looks to be an incredible race.
