In one of the only events where a D2 athlete leads the field, Leah Moran is your leader in the Long Jump. Her 19-11 is just shy of 20-feet, and leads the field by nearly a foot. Carson Brisk put in an 18-11.75 for the next best jump in D2, close enough to the leader to put some pressure heading into the finals. Splitting the pair in the rankings is Sara Kaye Freeman, whose 19-2 could also be just enough to take home the competition. Reigning champ Nastasja Johnson has an 18-9.5 is right in contention as well, and proved last year that anything is possible at the State Meet. | |||||
