Loaded 800m Field To Highlight Saint Anthony's Invitational

Boys Hurdles

Spotlight

110m Hurdles

The state knew they'd be playing catchup for a while after Sidney Gibbons (McClancy) threw down a 14.19 at the New York Relays. For Long Island, Saturday looks like the day they can take their shot. Top hurdlers Aaron McFadden (Copiague), Michael Outing (Farmingdale), and Infinite Tucker (Huntington), all hover around the 14.50 range currently. If they want a shot at a state title, expect them to bring it down at least a tenth of a second. Should be a loaded final.

400m Hurdles

Fresh off his 6th place finish at Penn Relays, Infinite Tucker (Huntington) will look to continue to impress. He hit 53.24 in cold conditions, and the junior looks to continue to drop. That isn't to say there is no close competition, as Nick Beglane (Hauppauge) has gone under 56secs prior.

Steeple

New York is still looking for it's breakout steeple star of the season, and maybe it will come from here. Freddie Buckholtz (St. Anthony's) and Brian Michels (Patchogue/Medford) are both seeded under 10mins, but will have to impress to gain that title.
