The top seed in the longer hurdles as well, Crystal Green (Uniondale)
is looking to drop the Island's top time. She'll be chasing a very
strong 14.02 set at New York Relays for the State Lead, and may have to
do it by herself in the finals. | |||||
400m Hurdles | |||||
| Fresh off her top NY finish at the Penn Relays, Crystal Green (Uniondale) enters the meet as the top seed. She'll be pushed by Kathleen Cibuls (Bayport/Blue Point) however, as both will circle around the 62secs mark. | |||||
Steeplechase | |||||
Although Alex Harris (North Rockland) dropped a State Leader early in the week, the Steeplechase action is ready to heat up. Jackie Thorne (Northport) and Molly Dearie (Ward-Melville) have both hit around 7-minutes flat, and Page Duca (Friends Academy)
is coming off an Indoor Season that saw her as the top miler. All
three combined may very well give us our first sub-7min mark of the
