800m

A loaded field will push the pace early. Hometeam's Gianna Mincone can hit the 2:15 mark, and will have strong competition from Suzie Petryk (Huntington) who can do much the same. Don't count out Kate McCormack (St. John the Baptist) and Page Duca (Friends Academy),

who had a great XC and Indoor Season, respectively. They could come

away with a new personal best. Dropping down in distance is Katherine Lee (Shoreham Wading-River) who has built a reputation for taking the 3000m out quick. She could also be a big player in the race. Kathleen Cibuls (Bayport/Blue Point) rounds out your top seeds.

1500m

Leading the field is Isabelle Harouche (Cold Spring Harbor), who saw a podium finish in this event at the State Meet last year, in 4:38.12. But she'll have to match those marks to keep up with Alex DeCicco (Sachem East), who took third at the State Meet indoors out of the unseeded sections, with a 4:41.84. Jamie Grossman (Harborfields) hit 4:38.84 last year as well, and will look to be a big factor early. Megan Tuthill (Mercy) and Kaitlyn Ohrtman (Shoreham Wading-River) also come in with 4:46 personal bests.

3000m

Jackie Gallery (Smithtown East) and Daniella LoCastro (Cold Spring Harbor) will look to hold off the duo from North Shore, Diana Vizza and Stacie Nadel. All four have the capabilities of hitting 10:10, and the distance event will be close to the final straightaway.
