State of the Action: The New York State Meet is as good a place to PR as any. Especially when it is what separates you from a state title. The challenge was thrown out in the preview, that for New Rochelle to hang on to their State Title, some improvements needed to be made. Victoria Jones-Alleyne did just that, dropping two-tenths of a second off her personal best in the hurdle final, overthrowing the early race favorite. Only a junior, Jones-Alleyne will be back next year to keep on defending that title. |
