New York State XC Rankings
Following Week of Saturday, October 18
The Week 5 rankings have fewer results to work with from a fairly quiet weekend preceding postseason action. At the Brown Invitational in Rhode Island, St. Anthony's beat out Collegiate in the Championship race, and St. John the Baptist took the Race 2 title. Guilderland was the top team at Albany County, while at the Section 1 Coaches meet, Mount Academy, Warwick Valley, and North Rockland posted wins. Chaminade was 1st in the New York City Carnival, Honeoye Falls-Lima won the Clarence Large and East Rochester capture the Small race, Baldwinsville was tops in Race 1 at Chittenango and Liverpool edged McQuaid in Race 2, and Carthage was the top team at Marathon.
For this final wrap-up of the 2014 rankings, 5 slots have been added to each of the classes for a total of 100 ranked teams.
