Boys Division 1 Individual
Notes: Bryce Millar of FM dropped the pack early.  Despite rough conditions, he went #2 All-Time on a course that has seen numerous revisions, state meets, and invitationals, only behind former teammate Nick Ryan's 15:34.40 in 2011.

Notes: There were glimpses of greatness at a dual meet earlier in the week, but come invitational time on a harder course, the Fay-Man Hornet's impressed.  Much like York's nickname "The Long Green Line," the '04 Stotan's were dubbed "The First Five Men" after a sufficient routing of major players at Manhattan that year.  Could this be Deja Vu?  Only time will tell.

Noah Affonder at Illinois State Meet (Left), Noah Affolder of Carthage (Middle), 8th Grader Sam Affolder of Carthage (Right)

Notes: Last year, he placed 3rd in the 3200m at the Illinois Spring Track Meet, as well as 9th in XC.  Noah Affolder was only a freshmen.  Now a year older, and a couple states over, Affolder has made a name for himself quickly.  Also impressive, his 8th-grade brother, Sam, has been close behind in the early races.  A family dynasty sure to make some news over the next few years.

Notes: Cicero-North Syracuse's compression saved them in the team competition.  Despite not having the front runners of Carthage, they nearly halved their 1-5 split, giving them a one point advantage at the conclusion.

Notes: Two names, both well known, went to battle in the last race of the day.  David Leff and Zakaria Adams fought through the entire race, gapping the field, but it would be Adams of Proctor to grab the edge.
