Top 25 Photos From Nationals

It was a weekend to remember, as many came from around the country to compete.

Alexa Efraimson, known to write specific words of wisdom on her calves before a race, epitomized the weekends mentality.

Union Catholic after their first win of the weekend, understandably excited.

Zola Golden took off in her 400m trial, knowing Baker would await her in the finals.

Pat Tucker sticks with the leaders in the 5000m, his first attempt at the distance on the track.

Jubilation exudes Trentavis Friday, after winning the 60m dash by milliseconds.

Excitement is hard to be contained by those winning a National Title.

Blanket finishes proved to be the most thrilling, whether they were in the distance events

Or in the short sprints.

Tessa Barrett was out to prove that XC was no fluke.

And Mickey Burke channeled his fellow Foot Locker competitor after medaling from the unseeded heat.

Although a National Championship, old habits die hard, as Efraimson starts her watch as the gun goes off.

Physical barriers mean nothing, when you take time to contemplate on the mental barriers of a National Record Height.

Second place can't be all that bad, when you set a national record time in the process.

Pedigree means nothing for the younger brother of Olympic standout Lopez Lomong.  You still need to run fast to win.

Heat means nothing either, as only quickness of feet determine the winners.

Photos flashing across the line, every step counts towards a national title.

And every title deserves a much earned rest, to let the win sink in.

While all eyes were on Tessa, hers were on the clock.

The clock turned distance runners into sprinters, demonstrated by Navin's 3:01 opening split.

But all titles won, are all titles deserved.

Either won as a relay

Or won as an individual

The path is never easy
