Chaminade Goes US #1-2 in 4x800m, in Same Heat

Highlights

  • Spliiting up their All-Star team from last year into two squads, Chaminade raced themselves at the Armory, goin 8:00.4 and 8:00.9 respectively, which makes them US #1 and US #2.  Having eight legs all at or under 2mins is mighty impressive.

  • St. Anthony' swept the Boys and Girls 4x400 meter relays, with their boys posting a time of 3:27.4.
  • A strong anchor leg from Kelly Hayes to allow the Pearl River girls to win the 4x800 with a sub 10 minute performance.
  • Justin Sicari of Monsignor Farrell went US #8 in the high jump, with his state leading mark of 6-7
  • St. Anthony's girls kicked off the varsity races with a 1:47.9 in the 4x200 meter relay.
