fficial’s Track & Field Meet – Girls 2011 PSAL Outdoor Track Official’s Track & Field Meet Sunday, May 1, 2011 Bayside H.S. Athletic Field 32nd. Ave – Clearview Service Road South Queens, N.Y. The Outdoor track Officials Meet is held the Sunday after The Penn Relays. It is our view that our elite athletes have had their day in the sun and should take this Sunday off and give the other athletes a chance to shine. This meet is open to all PSAL schools and will feature: A split day format with girls in the morning and boys in the afternoon Freshman events-medals to the top six Sophomore events-medals to the top six Varsity Events-medals to the top six. Team awards will be given to the top three schools. All events will count in the team scoring. GIRLS-Meet Information-GIRLS Athletes may compete in any 2 events Assigned PSAL numbers must be worn Check-in cards are required and must contain the PSAL number of each athlete The PSAL Fully Automated Timing (FAT) system will be in use and hip numbers will be issued by the clerk as needed. Teams must supply their own batons Seeded sections run first Pole vault and high jump competition will include all grades. Final results will be determined when the competition concludes. The event judge will determine opening heights. The order of competition will be: Frosh-Soph.-Varsity. Races and flights may be combined as needed to move the meet along.
