Your school is cordially invited to participate in the 10th Annual
WNY TRACK&FIELD and CC OFFICIALS CROSS COUNTRY
INVITATION. The format(see below), scoring and awards will be the same as they were last year. The course will be the same one as last year. We hope you will be with us again this year or will enter this year. The money made on the meet will be given out as scholarship awards to deserving seniors who participate in cross country.

FORMAT: A time format will again be used. Your number 1-2 runners will be in one race, number 3-4 runners
in a different race, and number 5-6-7 runners in another race. Schools will place in 3 divisions
large, middle, and small ) based on enrollment. All schools number 1-2 runners will run against each
other as will 3-4 runners, and the 5-6-7 runners. The total time of your top 5 runners will be added up
to give you a team time which will determine the winner. There will trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
in 3 groups. Division I – Large schools. Division II – Middle schools. Division III – Small schools.
REFRESHMENTS AND SOUVENIR SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. LAVS ARE
AVAILABLE. HOWEVER, COME DRESSED TO RUN. NO CHANGING FACILITIES!!!!

Coach:
Just a reminder the WNY Track & Field Officials Association will
be hosting its annual Cross Country Invitation on Saturday, September
25th, 2010 at Beaver Island State Park. The format of the meet will be the same as last year. The time format will still be used.
We will have 3 Divisions( small, middle, large ) based on enrollment,
but we will run them all together. After each race we will put the competitors in their proper division. There will be 8 races beginning
at 10:30am and last race going off at 2:00pm. Awards to follow race.
10:30 am Race 1 Varsity Boys( 5,6,7runners) All Schools –medals 1-15
11:00 am Race 2 Varsity Girls( 5,6,7) All Schools medals 1-15
11:30 am Race 3 JV Boys All Schools medals 1-20
12:05 pm Race 4 Varsity Boys(3 and 4)All Schools medals 1-20
12:30 pm Race 5 Varsity Girls(3 and 4)All Schools medals 1-20
1:00 pm Race 6 JV Girls All Schools medals 1-20
1:35 pm Race 7 Varsity Boys(1 and 2)All Schools medals 1-30
