10th Annual Douglas I. Quinney Invitational Track Meet
Friday May 15th, 2026
4:30pm @ Sidney High School
We are very pleased to invite you to the 10th Annual Douglas I. Quinney Invitational Track and Field Meet held on Friday May 15th starting at 4:30pm with a coaches meeting at 4:00 in the infield of the stadium.
Please provideone adult helper to assist with running field events. This will help keep those events moving and each adult helper will receive a complimentary t-shirt. If you have a preference as to which event you want please let me know in advance and I will set that up.
We will be using a FAT system for all races. Pin/pyramid spikes may be worn in all events. Entries will be done on Milesplit. The deadline for entries will be Thursday, May 14th, by 7:00 pm, which should allow you to be able to finalize your entries with your teams at Thursdays practice. Please refer to the Milesplit entry procedure that is included in the Section IV Track and Field Handbook for specific entry procedure direction, if needed. TWO entries per event and you can apply for a 3rd by emailing me their name and best performance(someone that would place in the top 6). Please convert any hand times to FAT by adding .24
This is NOT a Scratch 1 Scratch all meet. Scratches will be done on paper at the finish line area, before the coaches meeting. There will be no additions after final entries are sent out.
Awards will be made to the top Boys and Girls team, and ribbons to places 1-6 in all events. There will be an award for the outstanding boys track performer, the outstanding boys field performer, the outstanding girls track performer and the outstanding girls field performer. The officials will be giving medals to the top three places in the hurdle events in honor of Mr. Quinney.
The entry fee for the meet will be $200 for both boys and girls, $125 for boys or girls, or $10 per individual entry and checks can be made payable to Sidney Central School District (Put Quinney Invitational on the Memo Line). Payment or PO should be sent by May 1st
