The Parkhurst Invitational Track and Field Meet will be held on U-E's Mike Miller Track on Saturday, May 9th starting at Noon, with a coaches meeting at 11:30 am on the infield of the stadium. The entry fee is $300 per mixed team, $200 for just a boys or girls team, or $30 per individual. Checks are made out to U-E Track Booster Club, and mailed to Mia Bertoni, 65 Howland Hill Road, Newark Valley, NY 13811.

All races will be timed with an FAT system. " spikes may be worn in all events. Concessions & meet t-shirts will be available for purchase for competitors & spectators during the meet.

Entries are done on ny.milesplit.com (listed as 5/9 - Parkhurst Invitational - Union-Endicott). The deadline for entries will be Thursday, May 7th, at 8 PM. Please refer to the MileSplitNY entry procedure for specific directions, if needed. Two entries per event, please. Please use FAT times when seeding your athletes. If you must use a hand-held time, be sure to add .24 seconds.

If there is an abundance of competitors in any of the field events (to be determined by the meet coordinator), the first throw or jump in that event will be measured for all competitors. After that a throw or jump below the following standards will not be measured:

****** The Novice 1500 is for girls with a personal best time of 6:00 or higher ONLY. The Novice 1600 is for boys with a personal best time of 5:00 or higher ONLY. These races are intended for younger athletes who do not usually compete in invitationals. Please be respectful of this when choosing these athletes. Thank you! ******

Scratches will be done on paper at the finish line area, before the coaches meeting. There will be no additions before the meet.

Awards in the Parkhurst will be made to the top two girls teams and the top two boys teams. Individuals will receive shirts for 1st & 2nd places in each event, and the top 6 places will receive ribbons. There will be individual awards for the outstanding boys' performance (track &/or field), and the outstanding girls' performance (track &/or field).
