Virginia Tech Women Finish Sixth, Men Ninth at the Big East Meet Virginia Tech Press Release Oct 31, 2003

The Virginia Tech women's cross country team made the most of its BIG EAST swan song, finishing sixth with 144 points at the BIG EAST Championships, held today at historic Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y. Meanwhile, the men's team came in ninth with 250 points in the 12-team field. Notre Dame captured the women's title with 59 points, while Georgetown won the men's race with 29 points.
