ANNOUNCING THE 1st ANNUAL BLACKBIRD TRACK INVITATIONAL Saturday, May 9th 2020 @ 9:00AM Clayton A. Bouton High School
You and your team are invited to the 1st Annual BlackBird Invitational. This is a co-ed meet & for our first year we are keeping entries limited. We will be accepting the first 15 teams who express interest in competing at this event. Limited to class B/C/D gives your team a good idea of the smaller size school competition.
Date & Time: May 9th @ 9:00AM Where: Clayton A. Bouton High School, 432 New Salem Road, Voorheesville
Meet Director: Joe Becker
Facility: Our track is a 6 lane all-weather facility. Bathroom facilities are available inside the school. Please bring your own blocks & batons. Please use spikes or less. There will be a trainer on site for all your needs. There will be a concession stand available for all athletes. T-Shirts will be on sale for $20. Team camps must be outside the fence area of the track.
Entry Procedure: You must enter on NY.MileSplit by (April 20th)
Format: Each school is allowed 3 entries per event and one relay
Entries: We will be using Underdog Timing, results will be available on their website. All entries must be input into a MileSplit account by April 20th. We will also be using FAT. Make sure your athletes stay away from the finish line area to avoid interference with the timing system. Scratches ONLY may be made up until 8:15AM the day of the meet.
Rules: National Federation rules will be applied. The New York State Jewelry rule will also be in effect.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 or 6-4-3-2-1 in both individual events and relay events.
Awards: Top 6 in each event will receive custom medals. Team plaques to the top 3 boys and girls teams.
