Dear Coaches,
I hope your season is going well. Please be on time for the coaches meeting so we can begin the meet in a timely fashion. All entries will be via the Leone Timing system. You will need to go to ny.milesplit.com and enter your athletes by 11:00pm on Tuesday May 22. If you need assistance, please contact Milesplit with any questions. They usually respond quickly support@flosports.tv. You may enter any number of athletes that have met the Class C qualifying standard in an event. All Class C1 schools are able to enter one automatic entry per event. In order to have a second athlete compete in an event, both athletes must have met the standard listed.
Little Falls has eight lanes all the way around and an eight lane straightaway. Spikes are allowed on the track and jumping areas. Spikes must not be longer than inch. They do not have lights on the track. There are bathrooms but no locker rooms available. There will be concessions. No camps or tents on the infield.
Little Falls and Cooperstown will provide some of the volunteers for the meet, but we will need adult volunteers for the Field Events. I will be assigning each school to a field event. If you have a preference, please let me know as soon as possible. First come, first served. Officials will be running all of the field events, but the schools helper will be needed to assist. Thank you!!
Athlete drop off and bus parking: Busses can drop off at the track and then park where directed. After dismissal (2:57) busses can move to the MS lot.
Coaches meeting will be held in the shed at the track. Clerking will be on the infield.
Long and Triple jumps will be open pit with a time limit. Little Falls has 2 long jump runways, so boys will be in front of the homestretch and the girls will be near the backstretch. They will be going at the same time. There will be two HJ pits one for girls and one for boys. Pent HJ is first, followed by the open event. Shot Put and Discus will be called, with flights seeded by distance to aid in marking. All will be 4 attempts, no finals. Times listed are guidelines.
There will be an admission fee for spectators, in accordance with Section III rules.
