Heat Wave Slows XC Opening WeekendThe temperature was pushing 90 degrees in lower New York and the heat was felt across the state as times were a little slower than hoped for.  At The Saranac Lake Invitational, the time wasn't that fast but the outcome was as expected as Ticonderoga senior Lee Berube won his first invitational of the season with a time of 17:47.Left:  Victoria Pontecorvo (Tottenville) won the girls varsity race at The Rob Breen Invitational. www.wingedfootfotos.comRead More Highlights
