9:00AM 4:00PM (Doors opens at7:45AM)
$15 per athlete covers three events maximum per athlete. Registration online at www.nymilessplit.com
Day of registration will be $20.00 per athlete.
ALL payments must be made on the day of competition. NO exceptions.
Only inch spikes allowed.
Medals will be awarded to the top three in each event, in each age-group.
9:00AM Running Events
Mile run
55m hurdles (midget and up) (FINAL ON TIME)
400m dash
55m dash (FINAL ON TIME)
800m run
200m Dash finals
3000m run (bantam and up)
4 x 200m relay
Field Events (Bantam and Up)
LONG JUMP
SHOT PUT - WEIGHT THROW TO FOLLOW (Intermediate and up)
POLE VAULT (Intermediate and up)
TRIPLE JUMP (Youth and Up) (11:00AM or after the conclusion of the Long Jump)
HIGH JUMP (11:00AM or after the conclusion of the 55m dash)
Age groups combined in some events if the entry warrants.
Hurdle heights and implement weights according to the USATF rules
High Jump will start at a low height and move upward; bar will not be lowered after event begins
RULES
In accordance with USATF 2012 Competition Rule Book. Only competing athletes will be permitted on the track or infield area, except for medical emergencies.
The age divisions for competition year 2012 are as follows:
Sub bantam 2005 +
Bantam 2003-2004
Midget 2001-2002
Youth 1999-2000
Intermediate 1997-1998
Young men/women 1995-1996
Athletes must provide their own throwing implements. In all age-group events, we use the 'trust' system. Meet management reserves the right to withhold the results and awarding of medals in the event of a question regarding an athlete running inadvertently or under a coach's orders in the wrong age group.
