New York - It looks as if the big invitationals are about to start flowing. With McQuaid's move to exactly two weeks before the Manhattan Invite, many teams saw it as an opportunity to use it as a litmus test of their progress. We'll be on-site delivering all the action. The other meets have spurred some travel plans for New Yorkers, as both Great Adventure and Great American find squads taking to the road. We'll be on-site with our live studio for our MileSplit Golden Meet of the Week. Expect 25 races packed with the best of the best of upstate New York, with a few downstate and out-of-state forces to be reckoned with. Arlington is making the trip for the first time ever, but will meet with some competition from Baldwinsville, East Aurora, Brighton and Rush-Henrietta. As for the girls, almost all top ranked teams will be in attendance, with the likes of Burnt Hills, Penfield, Canandaigua, and Honeoye Falls-Lima. Other top individuals for the boys looks to be Ryan Manahan (Marcellus) and TJ Hornberger (Lake Shore) in a race for class b, while the girls see's the return of Laura Leff (West Genesee) to competition, facing off against top PA girl Kennedy Weisner (Elk County Catholic). Along with a few teams from Texas, top Canadian teams Ontario HIgh School and St. Michael's of Toronto look to stir up competition. Stay tuned for all the action.
