MileSplit NY - It's been a very busy week for us so far, and we are ready for the weekends activities. First, we have a brief preview of our New York State Rankings. Compiled and ranked by Perry King, we will be releasing them each week as the action unfolds. This week, they are strictly preliminary because some teams have not yet gotten into the mix of things, but already the leaders are starting to form. As for this weekends action, it looks to be packed with great events wherever you are in the state. The Feds course will be officially broken into, as NY #2 Northport will try to fend off US #1 CBA of New Jersey, at the Bowdoin XC Classic. A little bit upstate, the Queensbury Invite isn't pulling any punches. On the girls end, it will be NY #3 Holy Names and NY #2 Saratoga going at it, while the NY #6 Saratoga boys will have to fend off NY #3 Arlington. And for those looking for some action in Section 9, MileSplit's Mobile Studio will be at the Golden Meet of the Week, the Warwick Wave Invite, where big names like Mary Cain and Eric Holt look to bring Section 1 just a little bit north.
