ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell men's track and field coach Nathan Taylor has been named the Northeast Region Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year, the USTFCCCA announced on Monday.

Taylor coached the Big Red to a second-place finish at the Heptagonal Championships in Barton Hall two weekends ago before claiming the program's second IC4A Championship on Sunday.

Cornell had 45 IC4A qualifiers this year, including Montez Blair and Stephen Mozia, who are ranked 12th in the country in the high jump and shot put, respectively.

The Big Red, who are ranked No. 1 in the Northeast Region, finished its season as a team last weekend. The outdoor season begins on March 17 with a trip to California, though Blair and Mozia will likely be participating at the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 10.
