Complete USTFCCCA Release

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's cross country team has earned 2011 Division I All-Academic status, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced on Wednesday.

Just two days after the women's team also earned that honor, the men's squad was placed on its list.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.

Cornell had a grade point average of 3.24 during the 2011 season.
