Kane Invitational Schedule

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's and women's track and field teams will be hosting the Kane Invitational this weekend in Barton Hall, the teams' largest event this year with more than 20 other teams on hand.

Most of the opposition for the Kane Invitation will be local and Division III level schools, and the meet will not be scored.

Multi events begin on Friday night with the rest of the invitational getting underway on Saturday.

While most of the Big Red will be competing at home, a few members of each team will head to Boston University on Friday and Saturday instead. A group of five middle distance runners from the women's side will take part in the Valentine Invitational on Friday while 10 men's distance runners will do the same on Saturday.

The Cornell women are coming off a second-place finish out of 16 teams at the Sykes/Sabock Invitational at Penn State last weekend. The men placed fourth out of 14 teams in the same competition.
