ITHACA, N.Y. – Coming off a successful weekend at The Armory in New York City, Cornell's track and field teams are back in action on Saturday in two different venues.

Most of the Big Red athletes will be traveling to Penn State for the second time in four weeks for the Sykes/Sabock Challenge. The meet will be the Big Red's final scored meet of the regular season before the team faces two weeks of invitations to prepare for the Heptagonal Championships in Barton Hall on Feb. 25-26.

Last weekend, the women's team placed first of 12 at the Armory Invite in New York City while the men's team took second place out of 13 schools at the same meet.

When the squads last traveled to State College, Pa., on Jan. 14 for the Penn State Challenge, the Big Red women's team won two events and qualified seven athletes for ECACs while the men qualified four for the IC4A meet.

While most of the team will be heading to Pennsylvania, some athletes on both teams will be staying closer to home for the Ithaca College Indoor Bomber Invitational.

After Saturday's final scored meet, Cornell has the Kane Invite at home next weekend followed by the Deneault Invite on Feb. 18. Both meets will be at in Barton Hall before the Heptagonal Championships take place in the same venue.
