DES MOINES, Iowa - The Cornell men's track and field team opened competition at the NCAA Championships at Drake University on Wednesday, with Adrien Dannemiller and Nick Huber getting the action going for the Big Red. Dannemiller placed 21st overall in the steeplechase, while Huber ended day one 15th in the decathlon with five events remaining.

Dannemiller ran a 9:05.23 to place 10th in his heat and 21st overall.
