After another week of track & field action in New York, it's time to vote for the MileSplit New York girls performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.
This Week's Nominees:
Ka'Mara Lane, Padilla HS/SOTA/WOI (New York): Clocked 11.62 to win the 100 meters at the Section 5 Class Champs, making her the top sophomore in New York in the event. Also competed in the long jump, placing 6th with a mark of 17-4.
Melia Kupchanko, Williamsville North (New York): Swept the distance events at the Section VI Class AA Championships with wins in the 800 (2:09.36), 1500 (4:38.49), and 3000 (10:16.57). Her 800 time was the fastest of the week among all New York competitors.
Ella Michelitch, Minisink Valley (New York): Put together a dominant four-event performance at the Section 9 Class B Championship. Won the high jump with a mark of 5-10, took the long jump at 18-11.75, captured the shot put at 36-11, and placed second in the 100m hurdles in 14.97.
Anna Eells, Cicero-North Syracuse (CNS) (New York): Posted 20-5 to win the long jump at the Section III Class A-1 Championships, the top mark of the week in New York. Also won the triple jump (40-1.25), high jump (5-2), and placed second in the 100m hurdles (14.59). Ranks as the top junior in the state in both the long jump and triple jump.
Maggie McCormick, Bay Shore (New York): Won the 3000 meters at the Section XI County A Championships in 9:27.36, the fastest time of the week among all New York competitors.
