Prita Berry (Hastings) cleared 5-2 in the high jump at the Hen Hud Field Fest on May 18, improving from her previous best of 4-9 set in May 2026. The mark ranks #51 in New York state and #3 among sophomores, and set a school record for Hastings. Berry won the event with 10 competitors.
Liana Williams (Albany Academy) jumped 18-10.25 in the long jump at the NYSAIS Outdoor Championships on May 20, bettering her previous mark of 17-5.5. The performance ranks #14 in the state and #7 among seniors, and established a school record for Albany Academy. Williams placed second among 43 competitors.
Ula Yang (Hackley School) ran 16.02 in the 100m hurdles at the NYSAIS Outdoor Championships on May 20, dropping from her previous best of 16.58 from May 2026. The time moves her to #91 in New York and #35 among juniors. Yang finished fourth of 28 competitors and also set a personal best in the long jump with 16-10.25, improving from 16-8.25.
Simone Adusei (Calhoun School) clocked 25.89 in the 200 meters at the NYSAIS Outdoor Championships on May 20, improving from 26.53 set in May 2026. The time ranks #111 statewide and #22 among sophomores, and set a school record for Calhoun School. Adsei placed fifth in a field of 50.
Alexis Wright (Washingtonville) ran 2:21.53 in the 800 meters at Mountie Madness on May 21, lowering her previous best of 2:25.59. The time places her #129 in the state and #15 among freshmen. Wright finished ninth of 73 competitors.
