Notes: What a race between Bronxville and Cornwall in the DMR at the Green Dragon Relay. Word is that Mary Cain of Bronxville split 4:41 to cut into Aisling Cuffe's lead. Cornwall hung on for the win, 11:55.9 to 11:56.5. Cornwall also won a close one over Warwick in the 4x8, 9:44.1 to 9:44.4.
Fordham Prep edged Farrel 31-25 to win the boys NYC Mayor's Cup title as NYC's best team. St. John Villa beat Dewitt Clinton 46-39. Strymar Livimgston doubles up with wins in the 400m and 800m, the latter in 1:53.81. Private school Brearly looks very impressive on the day.
Orange and Black Invite - Chad Noelle, Green NY, set a new NY state record in the 2000 meter run with a time of 5:20.9. The time was also US#2 all-time behind Galen Rupp's 5:18.5 national record.
