Ines-Marie Galaz (Marymount School) ran 25.94 in the 200 meters at the Joe Wynne Somers Lions Club Invitational on May 1, improving from her previous best of 32.09. The mark ranks #78 in New York state and #25 among juniors, and established a school record. Galaz placed fifth among 227 competitors.
Harper Lollo (Kellenberg Memorial) clocked 12.50 in the 100 meters at the Herricks Invitational on May 1, lowering her previous personal record of 13.72 from April. The time ranks #49 in the state and #13 among juniors. Lollo finished second in a field of 108 runners and also set a personal record in the 400-meter hurdles with 1:07.80, improving from 1:10.50.
Dakota Evans (Tri-Valley) threw 135-11 in the hammer throw at the Tri-Valley Invitational on May 2, bettering her previous mark of 117-3. The distance ranks #4 in New York and #3 among seniors, and set a school record. Evans placed second among 14 competitors.
Sophia Lawrence (Batavia) ran 2:24.39 in the 800 meters at the Batavia Blue Devil Invitational on May 2, improving from 2:43.28 set in May. The time ranks #141 in the state and #16 among freshmen. Lawrence won the event in a field of 47 runners.
Samantha Kerner (Paul D. Schrieber) ran 10:23.59 in the 3000 meters at the 54th Saint Anthony's Invitational on May 1, lowering her previous best of 10:48.96. The time ranks #58 in New York and #32 among seniors. Kerner finished eighth among 23 competitors.
