Junior Tiffany Dawson (Staten Island, NY / Curtis)

Tiffany Dawson is the Bridge Financial Group Female Athlete of the Month for March. The jumper/hurdler led the Seahawks throughout March with four second place finishes and one top finish which earned her a spot in the record books. At the Richard Stockton Invitational the Staten Island native set personal-bests in placing second in the long jump (5.65 meters) and second in the 100 meter hurdles (15.48). At the Fred Hardy Invitational in Richmond, VA, Dawson earned the lone top finish for the Seahawks in the triple jump as she set a school record with a measurement of 12.13 meters. Dawson also finished second in the both the long jump with a leap of 5.50 meters and in the 100 meter hurdles clocking in at 15.57.

Senior Kevin McDonnell (Bristol, CT / Avon Old Farms)

Kevin McDonnell is the Bridge Financial Group Male Athlete of the Month for March. The Nutmeg State native batted a team-best .345 (19-55) with team-highs in runs (10), doubles (5), home runs (1), RBI (9), slugging percentage (.491), walks (9), OBP (.424), stolen bases (5) and outfield assists (3). The fifth-year senior began March by going 5-for-8 (.625)with the Seahawks' only home run of the year over two games at Jacksonville before capping his stellar month with a 3-for-5, four run, two double performance in Wagner's 11-5 victory over Rutgers on Wednesday, March 30. The power-hitting right fielder has also notched five multi-hit performances while batting safely in seven of the Green & White's eight NEC games, going 9-for-24 (.375) during that time. On the year, McDonnell is batting a team-best .333 (23-69) with a team-high 12 runs, six doubles, 11 RBI and 10 walks.
