Ines-Marie Galaz (Marymount School) ran 25.94 in the 200 meters at the Joe Wynne Somers Lions Club Invitational on May 1, improving from her previous best of 32.09. The junior ranks #78 in New York state and #25 among juniors, finishing 5th of 227 competitors while setting a school record.
Harper Lollo (Kellenberg Memorial) clocked 12.50 in the 100 meters at the Herricks Invitational on May 1, dropping from 13.72 set in April. The junior places #49 in the state and #13 among juniors after finishing 2nd of 108 competitors. Lollo also ran 1:07.80 in the 400 hurdles, improving from 1:10.50.
Dakota Evans (Tri-Valley) threw 135-11 in the hammer at the Tri-Valley Invitational on May 2, extending her previous mark of 117-3. The senior ranks #4 in New York and #3 among seniors, placing 2nd of 14 competitors with a school record performance.
