PCL Regular Season Meet #1

Jada Steward of West Catholic won the 55 meter dash with a PA#3 time of 7.33, teammate Michelle Davis won the 400 meter dash with a PA#4 time of 1:00.63, and Logan Brenker won the long jump with a PA#4 mark of 17-05.

 

For the boys, Chazz Wilks of Cardinal O'Hara threw 49-11 to win the shot put, Matt Smallery of Father Judge ran 6.72 to win the 55 meter dash, and William Schoener of Lansdale Catholic cleared 6 feet even to win the high jump.

 Leah Nugent moved up to US#2 on the national 60 meter hurdles list with her winning performance of 8.89. Cierra White of
Engineering and Science won the 60 meter dash with a US#4 time of 7.79. Jody-Ann Evans of Quakertown won the 200 meters with a US#5 time of 26.35. Michelle Davis of West Catholic ran a US#10 time of 59.83 to win the 400 meter dash. Pennridge's 4x800 moved up to US#4 with their winning performance of 9:43.85. Other highlights include Megan McGovern running a PA#3 time of 5:14.72 to win the mile, Logan Brenker of Conwell Egan won the triple jump with a mark of 35-11.50, good for PA#3, and both Upper Darby (1:48.66 win in the 4x200) and Downingtown East (4:11.00 win in the 4x400) both posted PA#2 marks in their respective relays.

TFCAofGP Meet #3

 

Brett Kelly of Boyertown ran the 2nd fastest 3000 meters in the US this season with his winning performance of 9:01.85. Rashad Williams of Central Bucks West won the 60 meter dash with a US#8 time of 7.21. Teammate Matt McGarvey won the 800 meter run with a US#10 time of 2:01.10. Kolin Jeffers of Methacton won the 60 meter hurdles with a US#8 time of 8.63. Downingtown West won the distance medley with a US#4 time of 10:58.34. In the field events, Brent Charlton of Downingtown West won the long jump with a PA#2 mark of 22-01.75, Harley LaCroix of Cheltenham won the triple jump with a PA#3 mark of 44-08.50, and Bobby Perepiczka of Council Rock North won the pole vault with a PA#5 mark of 13-06.

 

In division 2, Chris Williams of Strath Haven became the new national leader in the 60 meter hurdles with his winning time of 8.16. Tyrell Stephenson of Penncrest won the 60 meter dash with a PA#4 time of 7.11. Chidi Okezie of New Media Tech ran a US#9 time of 23.28 to win the 200 meter dash. Drew Magaha of Upper Moreland won the 800 meter run with a US#10 time of 2:00.86. Michael McGowan of Lower Merion ran a US#5 time of 9:15.96 to win the 3000 meter run. Chestnut Hill Academy won the distance medley with a US#10 time of 11:05.73. Beau Whitman of Germantown Academy cleared 13-6 to win the pole vault and Deshawn Hollis-Baker of Penn Charter won the division 2 high jump for the 3rd week in a row with a clearance of 5-10.

 

One final performance of note came from Elyse Wilkinson of Penn Charter, who improved on her top state and US#3 mark in the 800 meter run, running 2:17.43 to finish 14th.

Shelley Black of James M Coughlin took over the national lead in the 60 meter hurdles with her winning time of 8.73, starting sans blocks. She also added a long jump gold medal to her day with a winning mark of 17-04. Anne Holland of Pennridge took a piece of the national lead in the high jump with her winning mark of 5-8. Monica Pechanec of Notre Dame Green Pond won the pole vault.with a mark of 11-6. Jess Cygan of Liberty took over the state lead in the 3000 meter run with a winning time of 10:27.55.  Norristown girls won the 4x200 meter relay with a winning time of 1:50.21. Previous 3000 meter state leader Tori Gerlach of Pennridge placed 2nd in the mile with a time of 5:18.89.

For the boys, Imani Brown of Reading won the triple jump with a US#5 mark of 46-01.50. He also took the long jump with a winning mark of 21-03. Terrance Edwards of Norristown won the shot put with a mark of 51-06.25. Eric Hunter of Northampton won the pole vault with a winning height of 14 feet even. Tyler Kern of Nazareth Area placed 2nd in the 60 meter dash with a PA#3 time of 7.15.

Saucon Valley's Alissa Lombardo ran her first indoor meet of the season, going a PA#5 59.84c, finishing 5th. Also in the 400, were Elyse Wilkinson of Penn Charter, running 1:01.04c for 7th, and West Catholic freshman Braxton Spriggs, going 1:02.14c for 10th. Wilkinson also 2:21.2 for 3rd in the 800. And Spriggs tied for 3rd in the 200, going 27.14c.
