Manhattan Invitational – 38th Annual Meet
Preview for Girls Races A - F
Saturday, October 9, 2010. Van Cortlandt Park -- the Bronx
Overview
In addition to the premier Eastern States race, the Manhattan Invitational will be running 6 other varsity letters named from A to F. Some of the top teams from the region will be sprinkled among the races, and a lot of key matchups of NY schools of the same size will be contested along with the usual battles of little powerhouses against the big schools.
The following includes a brief summary of the top teams and runners who can be easily determined for each race. Inevitably, the non-NY schools will be shortchanged since info is harder to dig up, but the previews give a general idea of what will be great about each race. Teams and runners are not necessarily listed in order of speed levels because information is not available for many teams.
