ITHACA, N.Y. -- Four members of the Cornell women's track and field team were among the 551 athletes recognized by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as All-Academic Honorees, the organization announced on Wednesday. Seniors
Stephanie Pancoast and
Erin Roberts were joined on the list by sophomore
Molly Glantz and freshman
Kelsey Karys on the list.
In all, 27 Ivy League athletes made the list, with Columbia placing six, Princeton five and Cornell, Brown and Yale each seeing four athletes earn honors. To be eligible for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Champsionships, including the preliminary rounds, in their respective events.
