Joining Miller at the outdoor championship were junior Catherine DeSarle and senior Uhunoma Osazuwa. Osazuwa, a two-time defending BIG EAST champion, was one of four Orange student-athletes who won the conference crown in their respective event, including graduate student Michael LeBlanc (100-meter dash), junior Jarret Eaton (110-meter hurdles) and sophomore Tito Medrano (10,000-meter run). The 400-meter relay team consisting of LeBlanc, Eaton, graduate student Antoine Clark and freshman Darryl White also won the event. Consequently, the Orange placed seventh in the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship, which was their best mark since 2007 when they finished fourth. The women finished in eighth-place, a four-spot improvement from last year.
