PRINCETON, N.J. – Graduate student Michael LeBlanc kept his momentum going into the final day of the ECAC/IC4A Championships, as he earned his third consecutive title in the 100-meter dash. LeBlanc, who is coming off back-to-back event crowns at the ASU Sun Angel Classic and BIG EAST Outdoor Championships, crossed the line in NCAA Regional-qualifying fashion (10.47).

The men concluded their IC4A Championship tied for 18th-place out of 55 teams (16 points), while the women tied for 21 (14 points) out of 51 teams in the final standings of the ECAC Championship.

LeBlanc also led Syracuse to a third-place performance in the 400-meter relay thanks to the efforts of fellow graduate student Antoine Clark, junior Jarret Eaton and freshman Darryl White. The quartet earned their fastest time of the season with an NCAA Regional-qualifying mark of 40.36.

On the women's side, graduate student Nana Sang-Bender earned NCAA Regional qualification in the 1,500-meter run in a season-best time of 4:25.37 for fifth-place. Sophomore Lauren Penney lined up with Sang-Bender and took ninth (4:30.47).

The Orange also had two representatives in the women's 3,000-meter run, where junior Catherine DeSarle earned the team's fastest time with an eighth-place time of 9:44.30. Junior Katie Hursey wasn't far behind, as she took 10th (9:47.46).

Sophomore Mark Melilli was the men's only field competitor, as he claimed 22nd with a throw of 58.37m in the javelin, while second-year triple jumper Ieva Staponkute was the only woman to place on the final day with a 19th-place mark of 11.80m.

Syracuse will have one last push to earn a bid to the NCAA Outdoor Championship in two weeks at the NCAA East Region Championships beginning Thursday, May 27 in Greensboro, N.C.
